Habor Care Services LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, family members, and authorized representatives.
How SMS Consent Is Obtained
SMS messages are sent only to individuals who have provided prior authorization.
Consent may be obtained during the client admission or onboarding process through one of the following methods:
- Written intake forms
- Electronic intake forms
- Client admission paperwork
- Other documented authorization completed by the home care agency
SMS messaging remains disabled until the home care agency documents the recipient’s prior express consent and enables SMS notifications for that recipient within HaborCareAI.
Providing consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving care services.
Types of SMS Messages
Individuals who have authorized SMS notifications may receive messages including:
- Caregiver arrival notifications
- Scheduled visit reminders
- Visit completion notifications
- Family care updates
- Important care-related notifications
- Account-related communications
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on care services and account activity.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier.
Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message.
